Welcome to the 2nd part of my travel blog series called "Exploring Tanay" and for today's post, the spotlight will be on The Sierra Madre Hotel and Resort. Oh! Don't miss the first part of this series where I featured Ten Cents to Heaven, a place full of fun activities and spectacular view :)
LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION
The Sierra Madre Hotel and Resort is located at Km 58 Marcos Hi-Way Brgy. Mayagay Tanay Rizal. Based on their Facebook page, this place is made for you to be pampered with the beauty of the highlands. HOW TO GET HERE Kindly visit Exploring Tanay- A Travel Blog Series Introduction to know how we went to Tanay via FX. From Tanay Public Market, we rented a tricycle for Php 800 to visit several tourist destinations in Tanay including The Sierra Madre Hotel and Resort. However, if your start point is in Cogeo Public Market, you may take a Sampaloc-Tanay jeepney and inform the driver to drop you off Sierra Madre Resort. Transportation cost must be between P50-65 per person and will take about an hour's ride (from Sierra Madre FB page) Please note that if you intend to travel back to Cogeo via jeepney, you have to leave around 5:00 to 5:30 pm as the last trip of jeepneys passing by the resort to Cogeo is at 6:00 pm.
