You're here! :) It's the first part of my "Exploring Tanay" blog series where I will be featuring Ten Cents To Heaven. I intentionally made this series at this time because I wanted it to fit the Summer Time. Remember, we can always set aside the beach during Summer and opt to visit other places where you can feel and appreciate the nature :) LOCATION AND DESCRIPTION Ten Cents to Heaven Leisure Camp is a 30 hectare stretch of natural landscape offering a closer and perfect view of Sierra Madre mountain ranges and Laguna de Bay. It is located at Sitio Mayagay II Tanay Rizal. According to their Facebook page, Ten Cents to Heaven is a perfect venue for events, conferences, seminars, team building activities, educational tour, and the like. For me on the other hand, Ten Cents to Heaven is a perfect place for people who want to unwind and have a quick escape from the brutal reality of life. I'm unsure if we are on the same page here but being near the nature where I can see and feel the wonders of the world just makes me forget every burden I have. Look at those clouds almost touching the tip of the mountain :) HOW TO GET HERE Check out my Exploring Tanay- A Travel Blog Series Introduction to know how we got in Tanay and how we had an Php 800 tricycle package tour :) If you will follow our route, start point is going to be in Tanay Public Market where you can ride a tricycle heading to Ten Cents to Heaven. Note that you will be asked to pay Php 600-800 pesos for a round trip ride. I was surprised with the price but the tricycle drivers explained that Ten Cents is just way too far from the Public Market. WHAT TO EXPECT Ten Cents to Heaven was indeed far from Tanay Public Market. It actually took us almost an hour to reach the place via tricycle with no traffic interruption, of course. When we finally got there, we were greeted by a very strong and cold wind. I mean the wind was literally strong that it can move my body standing at rest. Ugh! that alone was extremely relaxing on my end :) Aside from the cold wind, I was extremely satisfied with all the green sceneries surrounding me. Nature ba kamo? Ito na yon! :) Here's one of the many relaxing sights in the place :) Not your ordinary receiving area :) ACTIVITIES Since this is a leisure camp where most team building activities are held, a number of exciting activities can be done here. Oh! and they also have two swimming pools which I failed to visit (-_-) That's not me. Those are visitors like us who have the guts to try the zipline. I just took a photo of them for blogging purposes . #parasablog :) Obstacle ROOM RATES Planning for an overnight stay? here are their room rates. Note that these information were acquired January of 2016. CAMP CAFE Ten Cents to Heaven mostly serve Filipino Food :) We weren't able to taste their food here because we were saving money. We actually brought "baon" from Jollibee :) Camp Cafe Interior This I believe was taken on the 2nd floor of their Cafe. One of the places where you can conveniently and clearly see the Sierra Madre Mountaion Ranges :) Sample Menu RANDOM IMAGES Look at that wall :) The color combination of green (grass) and red (flowers) is just so wonderful to look at :) I saw this Iguana on the side of the road on our way to their Camp Cafe. Ten Cents to Heaven is indeed a place where you can relax and meditate. The cool weather, clean air, green surroundings, and the relaxing sound of the trees being blown by the wind are just few of the reasons why I want to be back here. The place is obviously well maintained and I'm happy to tell you that their comfort rooms are clean :) I know that the cleanliness of comfort rooms are very crucial for most of us, correct? Here, that's not going to be an issue :) IMPORTANT NOTES: * Entrance Fee for viewing is Php 100 per person * The resort is open daily from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm * You may bring your pet for daytime visit only TEN CENTS TO HEAVEN CONTACT DETAILS: Mobile No: (0999) 977-0026 Facebook: Facebook.com/TenCentsToHeavenTanay Website: www.tencentstoheaven.com Exploring Tanay Part 2: The Sierra Madre Hotel Stay tuned for the 2nd part of this Travel Blog Series as I bring you to The Sierra Madre Hotel and Resort :) -JEN- Like my FB page here to be updated on my latest blog posts. |
