Travel Must HavesIf you read my post about Getting Back on Track, one of the things I suggested to be re-charged is to go on a vacation. Next week, I will be going on a "workation" in Luzon and I am targeting to visit Tanay in Rizal. I've seen a number of places there which can be described as "paradise" so I really want to see them with my own eyes. Now that I am once again travelling, I would like to share to you a list of travel essentials (most of which I personally bring) This is to help those individuals who are about to travel or those who are first time travellers :) Photo credit: travelfashiongirl.com When preparing your travel essentials, take into consideration the following: 1. Means of transportation- This is for you to know HOW to pack your things. We are all aware that different rules are given for different modes of transportation. 2. Places to visit/Activities- You would want to bring and have the proper wardrobe on your travel, right? 3. Length of stay- To know the quantity of clothes and essentials that you need to bring. 1.CLOTHING For your clothes and footwear, please note what I have mentioned above. Always consider your destination and planned activities so you can bring the appropriate wardrobe and footwear. One tip though, don't forget to bring a pair of slippers- you will surely need those :) In bullets, here are the things you need to pack: *Clothes *Shoes and slippers *Underwear (Some people still forget this) Quantity- Do consider bringing extra clothes and underwear with you. Not because you are scheduled to have a 5 day get away, you will only pack 5 pairs of clothes and undies. Always prepare for the unexpected. Talk about cancelled flights and unexpected scenarios like accidentally spilling drinks on your clothes. Hair Conditioner (optional for men, a must for women) 4. Toothpaste 5. Toothbrush 6. Feminine wash (for ladies) 7. Facial wash (per preference) Photo credit: hogiesonline.co.uk *Other Personal Necessities 1. Sanitary Napkin and Panty Liners (for ladies) 2. Comb 3. Hair Wax or Gel (for gents) 4. Lotion and/or insect repellent 5. Alcohol 6. Tissue and Wet Wipes (you need these, trust me) 7. Bottled water and food (you need to refuel during your trip/travel) 8. First Aid Kit with basic Medicine like Paracetamol and pain killers. As for me, I always bring lomotil and Kremil-s in addition to the two mentioned since I have an overly sensitive stomach. GADGETS 1. Mobile Phone/s and charger 2. Camera and charger + extra battery and memory card (optional) 3. Monopod and/or tripod Last but definitely not the least priority are: IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS 1. ID's/Passport/Visa 2. Ticket (Plane,Boat, Bus) There you go my friends. I hope the checklist helps. Oh I just want to add, as distinct individuals as we are, I'm pretty sure that there are things that we always bring with us whenever we leave our house, so go ahead and add that on top of the list above :)
