For the past couple of weeks, I purchased a few dirt cheap makeup to try and make a review on plus a number of affordable skin care products to show some love to my skin :) Today's haul post would be more interesting and helpful for my readers because aside from plainly showing you the items one by one, I will also be including mini reviews on some of the products I have already tried. I blame YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and Google Chrome for enticing me to buy these makeup haha :) Well, it's okay since all these are just insanely affordable. iWhite Korea BB Cream in Light and Beige- Php 24.50 each First on the list is this iWhite Korea BB Holic Everday BB Cream. This, by far is the most affordable BB Cream that I know. I haven't tried these babies yet so if you want me to make a review on them, just place a comment below :) Aido Mascara- Php 50 This, I will surely make a review on. I actually discovered this product from Rhaze, a Pinay Beauty Content Creator on Youtube. She did have a positive experience on this mascara and I hope I will have the same experience too :) Aido Liquid Eyeliner- Php 60 This is actually an unintentional purchase. I got this eyeliner days before I got the mascara thinking that I picked up the latter, my bad. I was deceived by their look; as you can see, they look entirely the same! :) I used this Aido Liquid Eyeliner once and immediately removed it for the sake of trying. I like its applicator and noticed that it dries fairly fast. I still don't have an idea on its longevity though as I still have to wear this for a day in the office. Aido Brow Pencil in Dark Brown- Php 45 I have used this before when it was still priced at Php 35 with an ordinary cap. I'm guessing that the price increase is brought by the cap with a built in sharpener. Too bad that this sharpener doesn't really function well. My experience with this Aido Pencil before was actually okay but the shade was just way lighter than my then dark brown hair so I decided to give it to my mama :) Fanbo Retractable Eye Pencil in Brown Cafe- Php 69 I believe I have already featured this brow pencil several times in my blog so let me just make this official haha. This Fanbo retractable brow pencil officially replaced my well loved EB Advance brow pencil in Dark Brown :) Now on to the Skin Care Products :) Kojie San Soap- Php 120 for 3 bars I have used this soap years ago and stopped using it because I was just too lazy to use it. Lame reason, I know, but that's what really happened. You see, this soap never stayed on our bathroom as it easily melts. What I did back then was place the "sliced soaps" into a small container and kept it in my room. I just bring the soap with me in the bathroom whenever I take a bath so that was the reason why I got lazy using it :) Does this work? Yes, definitely. This Kojie San Soap is the only whitening soap I tried which really lightened my skin. You just have to make sure not to be directly exposed to the sun for a long period of time else, your skin will easily get dark. Just use a sunblock cream or a lotion with at least SPF 50 to protect your skin. Kojie San Face Lightening Cream- Php 120 I'm not getting any younger and my facial skin's appearance is getting worst. That's basically the reason why I'm now investing more on skin care products. Anyhow, I used this Kojie San Face Cream for 1 week and I like how it made my skin very supple and moisturized. I stopped using it, however because I did break out. I will try to use it again and see if I will experience the same result. Hope it won't break me out this time since this product does well in making my skin smooth and supple. A Bonne Spa Milk Salt- Php 69 Just like the Kojie San soap, this isn't the first time I've used this A Bonne Spa Milk Salt. I had a bottle of this years ago and I liked it. I'm not even sure why I stopped using it but I still remember how smooth and soft my skin was every single time I use this salt spa. By the way, I bought this because I'm using the Kojie San Soap again. Kojie San exfoliates my skin with visible micro peeling so to effectively get rid of of my old dead skin, I back it up with this A Bonne Spa Milk Salt. Himalaya Whitening Facial Wash- Php 84 If you have been reading my blog for quite sometime now, you would know that this facial wash from Himalaya is a staple in my wash room :) This is just a very gentle yet effective facial wash. It's all made out of natural ingredients plus, it's cruelty free! :) iWhite Korea Aqua Moisturizer- Php 179 Oh well, hindi naman obvious na love ko tong moisturizer na toh eh noh? :) I believe is already my 6th or 7th tube. What I love about this is its water based formula and its legit moisturizing effect on my skin. iWhite Korea Moisturizer- Php 20 iWhite Korea Facial Wash- Php 18 iWhite Korea 2 Minute Miracle Mask- Php 24.75 Yes, I have the iWhite moisturizer in tube above but I also decided to buy the one in sachet for my Back To School Make-up Look next month. Though I love my Himalaya facial wash, I would also like to try this facial wash from iWhite Korea. I've used this before and as far as I can remember, I did not have any problems with it so I'm giving it another try :) As for the 2 Minute Whitening Miracle Mask, I'd say that this is my second favorite iWhite Korea product next to their moisturizer. This has been a part of my Skin Care Routine ever since it came out and I just love how it makes my skin smooth and radiant looking every after use. If you want to know more about this product, look it up on google or YouTube, you'll surely find a lot of reviews there :) Gel Hut Mun White (Clear Nose)- Php 63 I got this from skin_anew, an online shop on Shopee. If you are looking for an effective white heads remover, I'm telling you, this is the bomb! Seriously, I never expected this product to be very effective but trust me, it does the job very well! :) By the way, this was the very first product I reviewed on my blog so if you want to know more about this amazing cream, you better click here :) Quick FX Sunblock Cream- Php 99 Yes guys, Quick FX now has a Sunblock Cream! :) After buying this product, I immediately searched on Quick FX's FB page to check if this is a new product and found out that it is. I haven't seen any reviews on this yet but I have used it once on my arms and so far, it's okay. What I liked about this sun block cream is that it doesn't feel very sticky on the skin plus it has SPF 50, for pets sake! :) I will be using this again and this time, I'll use it on a daily to really check how it performs :) Myra Vitawhite Hand and Body Lotion- Php 102 I have always loved Myra lotions. I believe I have already tried using all their variants including the limited edition Sweet Pea Blossoms Moisture Cool which smells great, by the way. Since I'm currently using the Kojie San Soap, I opted for this Vitawhite variant since it has SPF 15 and it claims to whiten the skin. Isn't this a perfect pair for the current soap I'm using? :) Belfour Anti- Perspirant and Deodorant Spray- Php 74 Now let's move on to my underarm care :) I have been in a hunt of a good deodorant lately. Something that's organic, effective, and of course, affordable. Unfortunately, I haven't found a good one yet. When I was at Watsons weeks ago, I saw this liquid spray deodorant from Belfour. I have never heard of this brand before but I believe this is a local brand. I decided to give it a try and used it for a little more than a week now. I noticed how my UA becomes literally odor less every time I use this. Sweat control is also great but don't expect your UA to be 100 % dry especially on a very humid day. Foliaged Alum Tawas with Calamansi Roll-on- Php 69 It's a deo roll-on with tawas and calamansi. Such a perfect combo so why not purchase it? :) I have yet to try this roll on and I will surely let you know if this will do any good on my UA :) Lewis and Pearl Powder in Jasmine Garden- Php 20 I have been into baby powders in setting up my makeup lately since I find them better in keeping my oiliness at bay. I've been using the Tender Care Baby Powder for a few weeks now and it's good. But when I saw this powder from Lewis and Pearl in a purple container, I did not hesitate to pick it up :) This powder honestly smells great :) Visine Refresh Eye Drops- Php 82
Last but definitely not the least is my eyes' best friend :) It's been a while since Eyemo and Visine eye drops were difficult to find in most drugstores. I remember that batches of these eye drop brands have been pulled out from the market a few years ago for a reason I do not know. I'm just glad to discover that Visine is back, thanks to Phoebe Ortiz, another Pinay YouTuber :) I badly need this to moisturize my super dry eyes. Thank you so much for dropping by and see you on my next post! :) -JEN- Like my FB page here to be updated on my latest blog posts :). |
