Hello there, ladies! It's that time of the year when we go out on a date with our boyfriend, husband, family, and friends. That being said, I'd like to share a simple yet fresh and lakas maka blooming makeup look that you can wear this Valentine’s Day :) Plus, if you're a budget conscious like me, I know you're happy to see from the title that I used products that are all affordable and locally available. Let's start? :) Makeup products and tools used for this look. If you guys don't have any brush or sponge yet, you can use your clean fingers to apply the concealer and BB cream. That cotton ball right there is my dog Hachiko :) I just want to include his "flat lay moment" on this post :) Ahmm never mind the hair, I was trying to achieve that pak na pak curly/wavy hair kaya ganyan yan :) I already moisturized my face at this point and is ready for the next step :) I used Fashion 21’s Ultimate Cover BB Cream + Concealer for my base. First, I spot concealed my dark pimple marks as well as my active pimple then I applied the BB cream on top, blending it along with the concealer using a flat top brush. Just dab dab dab the brush. It defeats the purpose of you concealing your dark spots if you will swirl your brush. To add more coverage and to set the BB cream and concealer, I used a damped sponge and used Fashion 21’s Two Way Cake with Milk Moisturizer in #1. Next is the brows. Here I used Aido's eyebrow pencil to outline and fill in my brows. I must say that I had a hard time using the pencil since its color pay off isn't that pigmented. For the eyes, I just used one eyeshadow for my entire lids. I chose that bronzy glittery shade in the middle of the palette to add a bit more oomph to my eyes. By the way, I sprayed a little bit of water on my eyeshadow brush to intensify the color. Now on to my lashes, I opted to use false eyelashes to compensate the very simple makeup look that I was aiming. I then used Aido’s mascara to marry my real and false eye lashes. PS: Pasensya na sa pabago bagong lighting. I'm dependent on natural lighting :) And to achieve that fresh blooming look, I used Fashion 21’s mineral powder blush in # 7. This blush isn’t matte and a little goes a long way so be extra careful upon application. What I did was dispense some of the product at the back of my hand and used my large Moonkini powder brush to apply the blush on my cheeks. I also applied a little bit on the mid part of my nose bridge for that sun kissed look :) Its shimmers already served as my highlight :) Lastly, I used this raved Fashion 21 All Day Matte Lipstick in Bronze to complete the look :) At para maka pose na for the final look , I just removed my rod curlers, fixed my hair, and changed my top :) Yung kagat labi talaga ang nagdala eh :) haha. Just so you'd know, I'm not wearing any contact lens here. I just used MakeupPlus Ph's "Contact" feature. And this? this is the real me :) I just can't leave the house without my glasses :)
Happy Valentine's Day! Celebrate this day not just with your significant other but also with your family and friends. Have fun :) -JEN- |
