Happy Holidays Friends! :) Christmas eve is just around the corner so for today's post, I will be sharing a quick and simple Neutral Makeup look that you may wear for the Holiday Season. Keep on reading if you want me to walk you through the steps :) FYI: I just did this early in the afternoon today.
I already did my full coverage foundation and brows so let's now proceed to the eyeshadow application. For this look, I will be using the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette but of course you can always do this look without using the same palette as long as the color/shade of the eyeshadow is pretty much the same :)
Note: Apologies for the eye shots. I just can't get my phone to focus on my eyes :(
So my eyeshadow have something to adhere to, I applied a thin of concealer on my lids. What I used here is the Pink Sugar Our Li'l Concealer in the shade Light Medium.
Next, using the brush that came with the Naked 3 palette, I took the shade "limit" and applied it all over my lid while opening my eye every now and then to check if the shadow is still visible even when my eyes are open.
To define my crease, I used the shade "Nooner" and carefully blend it all over the crease area. I just continued to pack on this color until I was satisfied with the color intensity :)
To add more color, I placed the shade "Burnout" on my center lid using the other tip of the eyeshadow brush which is a flat shader brush.
Here I just re-applied the shade "Nooner" on my crease area and concentrated on adding more color on my outer "V".
To highlight, I used the shade "Strange" and applied it on my brow bone and inner tear duct.
Then, I used an angled brow brush and picked up the shade "Blackheart" to line my upper lash line. I soaked the brush with water, by the way so it will be able to pick up good amount of product and the color payoff will look more intense.
So we're done with the eyeshadow application and it's time to curl the lashes and put on mascara. For this look, I chose to use a natural looking falsies to make my eyes look prettier :)
Let's go back to the face to apply a blush. Here I used the SanSan Everyday Cheek Tint. Check out my review of this tint here.
To contour my nose, I just used my Ever Bilena Advance eyebrow pen to draw lines on my nose and blend it using my fingers. Now that's an instant nose lift :)
Now let's move on to the lips. Since this look is neutral, I chose to have a nude lip color from Lime Crime Velvetine in the shade Cashmere. This lip cream was actually included in one of my haul posts here.
Lastly, I set my face with powder and as usual, my Nichido Final Powder in Ivory Glow was tasked to do the job :)
We are done! Here's the final look of this easy, simple, yet glamorous Holiday makeup look. Give it a try if you liked it and just comment below if I can do anything to help :)
Enjoy the holiday season friends but don't forget the essence of being a human. You know what I mean, right? :)
